Keep Growing...

BasicGrey Challenge #25

This card is for my colleague's birthday...her card is a bit challenge for me.  First she don't like flower and secondly she just like simple thing and not too colourful.  So this week's BasicGrey challenge just matched my needs here.

The rubber stamp is from Penny Black 2008's collection Uplifting Occasion.  This time I used the water-soluble colour was pastels from Caran d'Ache instead of color pencil.  Watercolors works well in this stamp and it was so easy to blend in the colors that I wanted.

I hope that she will like the card and with this card I would like to pass her a message for her birthday..."Keep Growing..." kekekeke...

A Simple Card for 21th Birthday Boy

Sketch Saturday #41

After stopping for so long in card making, here is my entry...
I'm making this card for my friend's brother and he is going to celebrate his 21th birthday next week.  So good to be young ya...

This is quite a simple card, no fancy, no flowers and no glitters.  Instead of using flowers for a young man I choose to use button and replace the text with number 21.  These numbers dies are my new collection from QuicKutz special 2008 limited edition - The Caribbean and they are so fun to use.  I'm planning to use these dies into my new scrapbook project.
