Zero Distress...

Sketch Saturday - Week #95

Is this my way of making a card...with zero distress at all...and on my I couldn't believe that I can make it happen.

The whole card look so clean and nest to me but I just like it. Is another different style from me yah...

This time round I used How Sweet You Are from Sarah Kay and pattern paper wise I can't remember is from which manufacturing as I bought it for quite some time from Made With Love.

I enjoy this sketch and hope to try more with Zero Distress again...

Sarah Kay Collection - First Kiss

Sketch Saturday - Week #93

First Kiss...

I'm using a very tone on the image and this time round instead of stitching the border I replaced it with stamping. The border stamping is from MSE - Swirls.

No flowers but added with some gems stone and distress...

Hope you like it.

Spring...

Since I have lots of collection of Sarah Kay, how can I miss the chance to participate in this challenge. I just can't wait to complete the card and post this up.

Spring...before I decided the set of the pattern papers here, I think of green colour and this make me link it with Spring. I used the paper stack...again from DCWV - Farmer's Marker and this stack of paper is bit special in texture and is made by 70% of recycle paper.

I choose Elodie in Her Garden to match the theme. Seems like greens really go well with the stamping.

Inside the card, I use the pattern paper from the same stack as the base and stamp it with my favourite Penny Black wording stamp here.

If you notice, I used the Hero Arts cling stamp - Time to Stamp as the clock background behind the image. I'm using inkpad from Versafine - Olympia Green and add a little distress in the centre of each clock.

So meaning of card is...Spring Time...!!!

Sarah Kay Collection - Precious Moments

Friday Sketchers - Sketch #92

Brown is always my favourite colour and for this challenge I decided to make a card with just the tone of brown. I enjoyed the colouring and this pattern paper is quite easy to match as I have the pattern paper stack from DCWV - Rustic. This stack of paper is a "must have" if you like to do vintage or distress way. I have used Rustic to make my postcard album and scrapbook.

The wording stamps are from Penny Black, and Dreams Come True is my latest collection and is a wood mount rubber stamp.

Flowers embellishments are from Hero Arts.

This card looks simple but it took my whole Saturday morning to complete it...but yet this is one of my favourites.

Sarah Kay Collection - Lucy & Kitty

Oh my...I'm so happy that I can collect the Sarah Kay's collection through JDA... So good that Freddy brought in the Stampevie's stamp collection after the CHA.

I was the first person who get all the 22 Sarah Kay's 2009 collection from JDA and now I'm looking forward to do more project using all of them.

I made this card just because I wanted to try out this layout as I saw this layout is quite command and more and more people are making it. In fact this is very easy to do and I got a perfect stack of pattern paper from DCWV - The Crafty Stack to match. This stack is my favourite and it is also perfect for scrapbooking.

Materials:

Stamp from Sarah Kay - Lucy & Kitty
Wording Stamp - Penny Black Celebrate Life
Pattern paper - DCWV The Crafty Stack
Colouring Pencil - Caran D'ache with blender Sansodor
Flowers - Prima Flowers

The card has no owner yet...still thinking who to send to...
