The Power of CARE Bear

This is my not my first handmade photo frame but is my first time I did this for myself.
I bought this QuicKutz limited edition Teddy Bear dies from JDA, instead of using the normal brown color, I turn it into favorite color and also it matched the Care Bear too. The different here is the heart was held in his hand instead of on his stomach...

The cost of doing this frame is quite cheap as I bought this wooden frame from Daiso, which is just $2.00.
This is the wooden frame, is empty and is flat and that is the reason I bought it.

First I applied the Mod Podge on top of the frame and after that I put the pattern paper on top.

This is the back of the wooden frame.
My hand was holding the stand, is a very simple frame.

you can see the glue on top of the wooden surface.

After I paste the pattern paper, I used Broken China Distress Ink to ink the edge and tone down the color.

Once the pattern paper settled own I started to layout my favorite picture and the bear. The alpha set that I used is Nutmeg and is also from QuicKutz.

I did the embossing for the balloon and the alphabet...this embossed effect was so great and it came out from my new Epic Six...the result is must have it...

Simple and easy to make...

Penny Black 1998...

I just completed this coloring by using color pencil and Sansodor as the blender...
This rubber stamp was the production from 1998 and of course again I get it with the help from JDA.

I'm going to use this to make a card for one of my friend.

I have another 5 same series rubber stamps and I will review one by one once I completed the coloring.

I hope to buy more and I really enjoy of the coloring...

Stay tune yah...

My First X'mas Card for 2009
Challenge - Stamp Something
First of all, welcome me back to Fusion of has been a while I'm away from my craft work. Feel good to be back here.

This is the 1st X'mas card that I did for this year and I used mostly stamping method by using Hero Art collage stamp and also Penny Black's Music Background. The paper that I used is DCWV and this was last year's release. I like this paper as I can use the different cuts here to bring up the vintage feels.
I like this distress and vintage methods that I applied here, is very different as most of the time when doing a X'mas I will only think about red, green, blue and white.

And of course I won't forget the reindeer from QuicKutz, I used reindeer cos of Santa...both of them are together...right?

I'm looking forward to my next project...hopefully I can squeeze some time from my busy schedule.
