Hot But Cool...

Yes, she is hot but yet she is so cool right?

I like this Penny Black's rubber stamp and as usual I used my Caran d'Ache Sa color pencil with Sansodor.  Now I'm so addicted to use this method to do coloring and I always lookinf forward to my next project.  Pattern papers wise I used the summer matstack from DCVW.  This is the special summer collection from DCWV and it is so easy to match the color.

I hope the girl who received this will like this as well.  

My New Hero Arts Rubber Stamps

These are not new stamps from Hero Arts but I'm so happy to own them.  All these stamps were brought back by Freddy from JDA.  He went to Hero Arts headquarter and he brought a few back with his luggage and he purposely kept these two sets for me.

I'm so touched and these also become my favourite collections.

I like sea shell and of course I won't let this goes as well.

First Day Back to Work...

After resting for more than 10days I feel refresh and recharge at work today... So Westin hor...kekekeke...

Today I receive 4 greeting cards' order.  3 wedding cards and 1 birthday card...and I still have 10 ATC to complete...

mmm...this few days I still in holiday mood and I haven't stared any of them yet.  I have to start it by tomorrow as I can stay till late night cos I'm not working on Thursday.

I have ideas for my ATC already just need to think about the wedding cards.

Well, just leave it till tomorrow...

Another Birthday Card

This card was halfway done before I went for holidays.  I just completed this morning and I need to pass this to my colleague when I back to office next week.  This card is for her best friend and again purple color is her favorite color.

This time round I used the white color gel pen to highlight the hair, cheek and other area to try out the different effect.  I like the hair and it really looked different after adding the white highlighting.  I think i will use this method for my next card as well...anyway it was a good try...hehehehe... :-) 

I can start my next project soon.

Purple Cane

I call him BiaoGe 表哥, but he his not my cousin brother he is one of my good friend.  Why we call him BiaoGe is because he is the cousin brother of one of my good friend.  Since we met, all of us called him BiaoGe till today.  My hubby also called him BiaoGe.  Currently he is dealing with wholesales business which related with books, Chinese books and comic as well.  He is such a cute and sincere person and we had spent the whole day with him on last Wednesday.  

He brought us to this Purple Cane and all the dishes here were cooked by using tea or tea leaves.  Even the rice also cooked with teas.  Something special right...

This is steam egg with tea...in the menu called 茶葉蛋

The tea that served by the restaurant also very good, we really had a good lunch with Biao Ge...

My Buddies...

Two of them are my best buddies and we still keep in touch with each other even we didn't meet up for such a long time.  We still remember the time that we spent together and the joke that we used to talked about.  Three of us used to hang around at Petalling Street, Jaya Jusco at Taman Maluri, Genting and of course not forgetting Taman Miharja...

This trip is really a fruitful trip for me and I really treasure it.  If time permit I sure visit them again in KL.

Reunion Dinner

This trip I was so happy that I managed to meet up with my classmate from Taylor's School of Hotel Management.  We have not meet each other since 1995...such a long time ne...

We had our dinner at Sasaki Japanese Restaurant and mu hubby helped us for the photo taking.  In the photo front row from left to right we have Chok Kwan, Calvert and Lee Lee, me and Chin Yee were at the back.

We talked a lot from the past till current and we missed other classmate who can't make it for this dinner as well.

I hope that we can have this type of reunion dinner again in the near future.

Le Meridien KL

Again I only pay attention to Starwood hotels...hehehehe...

Yes this is the view from Jalan Parlimen...I think so...  We was on the way to Puchong from KL city.  LM is on the left and Hilton is on the right, both of them are just above the KL Sentral.

Public Toilet

This is the new form of Public Toilet, maybe I'm a bit of "suoku" (Mountain Turtle), I really never see and use this type of new generation of public toilet before.  After so many years I was away from KL (since 1995), this city is really very different and I hardly can recognised most of the places now.

Federal Highway

While on the way to Shah Alam we saw an Euro Motorcycle at Federal Highway.  This biker was half way cut in to our lane and it was quite unusual for me to see this Euro plate here.  The traffic is quite jam and is very unusual on Sunday morning.  Both of us have a same thought that in front must be an accident.

And it was clear enough that there was a dump truck fell on the road and occupied 3 lane.  That was the main cause of the traffic jam on Sunday morning...

This is the close look of the condition...many policemen stood there and doing nothing, not even giving direction to the traffic that in front of them...

Along the Highway...

I really enjoy the view along the highway.  I took this picture while we pass by the mountain.  The wind was very strong outside and it was going to rain at that time.

All this picture that I took from the the car were using my new Sony Ericsson Phone C902 and I was surprise with the quality.  This phone is coming with image stabiliser and I like this feature very much because I can take what I like without fail...

Hotel Imperial, Kuala Lumpur

I stayed in Hotel Imperial during my visit to Kuala Lumpur, this hotel was known as Sheraton Imperial before renovation.  After the renovation, the hotel converted to Luxury Collection in Starwood and name was change to Hotel Imperial.

Well, so far most of colleague said that the location was not as good as The Westin Kuala Lumpur but I'm all right with it.  I quite easy to access by car and travel condition is better than Westin.

I quite enjoy with this hotel as well as my hubby...He feel more belongs to Sheraton than other brands after last few trip to Bangkok.  I should bring him to stay in Westin and W Hotels one day...and not always in Sheraton, kekekeke...

All rooms has been renovated and also comes with Plasma TV, DVD player and of course the Sweet Sleeper Bed :-)...

Overall I'm happy with my stay as well as the meal that I had at the Chinese Restaurant with my hubby's uncle and his family members.

Plan for another trip?...yah maybe...as long as my dear hubby willing to drive for 400km to reach there.

My First ATC Swap...

This is my first time doing the ATC swapping.  The title for this ATC is flower...

This is the one that I did and I completed all 6 with the same design.  

I was using HeroArts's clear stamp and stamped it with Kaleisocolor's Berry Blaze.  For the background I used the Peeled Paint Distress Ink from Tim Holtz and the color just blend in naturally with the flowers.  For finishing I used Liquid Pearls from Ranger to enhance the dots.

Yesterday I just came back from my KL trip and I'm so happy to received all the ATC from Cari Forum's buddies.  Each of them is unique with their own personality.  Now we are going to start another ATC swap and this time the theme is birdies.

It is so fun to swap the ATC and this time round will be more people joining.  I'm going to start the 2nd ATC soon and the ideas already in my mind...

Testing...testing...

I wanted to try the stamping on candle after I watched the HeroArts video tutorial.   It was so simple and easy to do...trust me...

First, stamp with the image that you like on the tissue paper.  Please take note that this tissue paper is not the one that we use for cleaning.  This one a bit thicker and mostly you can get it from florist shop or sometime some boutique use this for warping your cloth before they put into the paper bag.  After stamping you use the color pencil to color it.

This candle I bought it from Daiso, $2.00 for one and I use this as an experiment.

After the coloring, place the stamped image on to the area that you like and use the heat gun to melt the candle so that the image can blend into it.  But don't over heat it otherwise your going to melt the whole candle.

And finally here it is, a candle with your favorite image.  You can wrap it with ribbon and present it as a gift.  Simple right?

A Special Card For Magic...

After I received this stamped print from Ying, my first though was Magic.  I wanted to make a special card for her with this cute Tilda.  I'm a positive person and yet Magic my opposite so I always use my strong positive power ti influence her...but she always used up the power...I have to keep topping up for her :-).  

I really hope that she can always stay happy and be brave to face the reality.  Sometime is really hard to go through lots of up and down but I always be with her when she needs any kind of support.

p/s: Why I always say Happy Birthday in advance...because I will be away from office from Thursday till end of the month...(yeah...) I won't be around on their birthday, so I wish them before I'm going on leave.

Tilda

I made this card for my Japanese friend, Miyuki-san.  She is such a cute and lovely girl...yes a lovely girl.  I like to talk to her because I can learn lots of different culture from her background.  In another she can improve my Japanese as well...kekekeke...good idea right.  

This card so suitable for her, a gentle and lovely face...she likes colorful things and that is why I use many different color flower to enhance the whole and she really like it.  I always like her calling me...Geam-san..:-)...and my answer is nan-desu-ka...

She had placed this card on her desk and I can see it from me seat...because I just sitting beside her... ;-)

Little Angel

I just completed this card half an hour ago...phew...finally I had completed all my task.  This is also requested by my friend.  This weekend is a fruitful weekend for me because I had completed 4 cards in this weekend.  I really enjoy it and I'm looking forward for more to come.

I almost used up all the flower embellishment that given by Ying and I'm so happy that I really fully utilised it.  I'm looking forward to buy some nice flower as well as some nice brads.  She had open my creativity door and suddenly all the ideas down pour like waterfall.

This little angel was stamped and given by Ying and it was so precious to me.  I will ensure that card that I made must be outstanding to match it.

Thanks again Ying, my next step will comes very soon and I'm working towards it.

Another Make Over for Ginger

This time round I used pink color on her dress and change her hair color to golden brown.  Is another change over for her.  She looked good in this color as well.  I used distress ink Worn Lipstick for the back and Spiced Marmalade for 2nd layer.
This time round I learned how to use and appreciate flowers.  I already addicted to flowers and gemstone brads.  Next month I'm going to shop for these 2 items.  Another thing was I managed to tie a good ribbon knot...at last I did it...
Again I used the glossy accent on the Birthday wording.  I liked the effect and also it was so easy to apply.  

I'm going to post another birthday card and gift soon after I hand it to Magic, so stay tune ne...
